(Washington, DC) -- Normal operations are resuming at Washington Reagan National Airport as police continue responding to a mass shooting at the Washington, DC Navy Yard. A temporary "ground stop" was ordered earlier as a precautionary measure. The Navy confirms several injuries in the shooting at the massive Naval facility in southeast Washington and notes "reports of fatalities." Reagan National Airport is right across the Potomac River. Operations at Dulles International Airport in Northern Virginia have not been impacted by the incident in DC.
