A flood warning is in effect for the Pawtuxet River in Kent and Providence counties until tomorrow night, or until it's canceled. The river's flood stage is nine feet and it was already over that stage by yesterday morning due to heavy weekend rain. The National Weather Service expects it will rise through at least ten feet before it recedes. A flood warning is in effect for the Pawcatuck River in Westerly until tomorrow. It was already over the flood state of seven-feet yesterday morning.
