The upscale vintage fashion boutique, Maison DNA - The House of Designer Genes, invites the public to a free art exhibit on Saturday, July 26, 2014, featuring rare music, memorabilia and assorted works of Salvador Dali, curated from the private collection of Beth Laubi, a Dali expert and the owner of the shop. "Daliwood: The Celebration of the Life & Art of Salvador Dali" opens at 7 p.m. at Maison DNA, located at 64 Spring St. in Newport. Refreshments will be served. The event will also showcase the work of local artist, Emily Flynn, a self-expressionist who is inspired by the structural concept of anatomy and physiology, her feelings towards society, and the blend of what she finds beautiful and compelling in the world and her appreciation of the female figure.
