The Andréa Rizzo Foundation’s 13th Annual WALK FOR THE CHILDREN “Cliff Walk-a-thon” along the scenic Newport Cliff Walk will benefit children with cancer and special needs through Dréa’s Dream pediatric dance therapy programming.Ben & Jerry’s of 539 Thames Street, Newport is donating ice cream for a refreshing treat for all walkers!!This 2 mile scenic stroll is a “FREE FAMILY FUN EVENT” highlighted with raffles. KIDS Activity Booth, FREE refreshments and Dance Performances by Kinetic Synergy Dance Co., Gladdings School of Dance, Rosemary School of Dance Education, Dance Expressions - and other local dance companies appearing before and after the walk.Miss RI 2013, Jessica Mafeo will be present as well as renowned ballerina Rachel White.Fun for the whole family!
