Bobb Angel

Born and raised in the Newport area, Bobb has been with WADK since 1967. He performs a variety of roles including Production Director and Sports Director.

Bobb is a 2010 inductee into the R.I. Radio Hall of Fame, one of the 6 Halls-of-Fame for which he has been selected . He is a 7-time R.I. Sportscaster of the Year. Bobb co-anchors WADK's Morning Report every weekday. He helps provide extensive broadcast coverage and handles play-by-play for local high school sporting events as well as Salve Regina University contests.

Jacob Sullivan

Jacob Sullivan is a lifelong Aquidneck Islander, a graduate of Portsmouth High School and Rhode Island College, Jacob is a relative newcomer to the WADK airwaves. Jacob has joined Bobb Angel and Art Berluti to bring his unique sense of cheer and optimism to, The Morning Show, on WADK weekday mornings from 6:00 to 9:00 AM and he also acts as technician and host Mondays and Fridays on, The Open Forum program, from 12:00-1:00 PM. He enjoys: Heavy Metal, Reading books, laughing and learning something new every day. In addition to being on air, Jacob is currently the program director for WADK and helps produce, Talk of the Town with Bruce Newbury.

Frank Prosnitz

A journalist for more than 25 years, Frank Prosnitz has also served as a public relations professional in state government, private industry, and in his own consulting business.



He was a reporter/bureau manager at the Providence Journal for some 14 years, and served as editor of Providence Business News for a decade. He began his journalism career as a sports writer at the Asbury Park (NJ) Press (for about a year), moving to The News Tribune (Woodbridge, NJ for some 14 months), before joining the Providence Journal.



After a long career in journalism, Prosnitz co-founded The Write Approach, a public relations agency that over a four-year span was involved with several commercial and political clients, providing media and communications support for local, statewide (Secretary of State, Treasurer, and Attorney General) and congressional candidates.



He also served for four years as press secretary to the Rhode Island General Treasurer, before returning to journalism as editor of Providence Business News.



After a decade at Providence Business News, Prosnitz founded Prosnitz Communications, which served a wide variety of clients, from healthcare to the defense industry. During that time Prosnitz has also served as communications manager for the Rhode Island Blood Center.



Throughout his career, he has continued to freelance articles and photography to local, regional and national publications.

Twice won Best in Business Awards from the national Society of American Business Editors and Writers (SABEW).
SABEW also recognized Providence Business News as among the six best weeklies in North America during his tenure as editor.
Twice named media advocate of the year by the Small Business Administration.

Art Berluti

Art Berluti, a Middletown native, has been with WADK since 1981. He hosts an hour-long show which focuses on our community as Art brings in a steady stream of guests representing countless public-service and charitable organizations to talk about their respective efforts and to publicize their wide variety of events and fund-raisers.

Rick Kelly

Rick Kelly is the host of WADK's The Irish Hours. A lifelong Newporter, graduate of the former DeLaSalle Academy and Providence College, a Vietnam Veteran, and retired Middletown, RI, school teacher, Rick has been bringing the sounds of Irish music over the airwaves on WADK for over 25 years.

The Irish Hour is a mix of traditional and contemporary Irish and Irish-influenced music heard Sundays from 8:00 to 9:00 am. Over the years , in addition to recorded music, Rick has had in studio guest performances by Riobard O'Dwyer, Jerry O'Sullivan, Jim McCann, Tom Kennedy, and Fishing with Finnegan as well as over the phone interviews with performers such as Derek Warfield, Tony Kenny, Martin Hayes, Andy Cooney, Frank Patterson, David Munnelly, Davey Arthur, and many others.

In 2006 Rick was asked to emcee the opening show "Irish Night at the Newport Folk Festival" that featured tenor Ronan Tynan and Irish super group Cherish the Ladies. The Irish Hours is one of the longest running commercial Irish radio shows in New England.
