The Bellevue Ochre Point Neighborhood Association wants the Newport Zoning Board to delay their reviews of the Preservation Society’s Welcome Center proposal. They would like it delayed until the National Parks Service determines whether or not the Caretakers Cottage at The Breakers should be considered a resource to the mansion’s National Historic Landmark status. The Zoning Board has the hearing tentatively scheduled for September 29 to 30th.
