A Little Compton therapist has been arrested and accused of fraudulently billing Blue Cross Blue Shield for more than $83,000. Rhode Island State Police said 55-year-old Denise Fleurant of Little Compton was arrested Thursday and charged with insurance fraud and filing a false document. They say she owns Newport Psychological Services in Middletown. Fleurant was arraigned on the charges in district court yesterday and released on personal recognizance.
