Jamestown residents will need to fill up their cars off the island until the beginning of next month. There were two working gas station in the town, one shut down permanently and the other is closed for renovations. The lack of gas has some residents concerned, others are more concerned with the lack of convenience stores. Renovations on the Cumberland Farms gas station are expected to be complete with the gas pumps open for business on October 8th.
