Prudence Island Ferry has made its last trip.  The service that has operated since the 1980s made its final run yesterday, as they are being replaced by A-and-R Marine.  Prudence Island Ferry had sought a court order to prevent the competition from taking over, but they lost that challenge.  A-and-R is expected to take a couple weeks before they are able to transport vehicles, which is a big concern for Island residents.
