The City of Newport has announced that metered parking is now in effect on Narragansett Ave from Ochre Point Ave east to Forty Steps from 9am-9pm daily. The fee is $1.25 per hour with a four hour limit and includes weekends and holidays. There is no parking at any time on either side of Narragansett Ave from Bellevue Ave eastward to Ochre Point Ave. Metered parking throughout the city is in effect from May 1st through October 31st.
