Rhode Island Senate President Teresa Pavia-Weed is now opposed to expansion of the casino in Newport.  Pavia-Weed says she doesn't want to see table games added at Newport Grand.  The state's top ranking lawmaker says she decided to oppose the measure after the Newport City Council rejected the expansion plan this week.  State voters and those locally in Newport will be asked on Election Day whether to allow the expansion.
