There will be a public debate on the casino ballot questions this Thursday night at 6pm in the Rogers High School Auditorium. The debate will feature casino proponent and URI Professor, Edward Mazze, who prepared the Economic Impact Study of the proposed casino and casino opponent, former Connecticut U.S. Representative Robert Steele, author of “The Curse: Big Time Gambling’s Seduction of a Small New England Town”. The event is free and open to the public. It is sponsored by the Redwood Library.
