A New Bedford man is behind bars for allegedly having more than one-thousand oxycodone pills inside his car. Jose Cabrera was arrested on Wednesday along Route 96 in West Greenwich. Police say they searched Cabrera's car after smelling pot and found a backpack full of oxycodone pills. He is facing several charges including drug possession and driving with a controlled substance.
