The Middletown Police Department is partaking in "Movember" this year.  The "Newport Daily News" reports that the department is lifting its ban on facial hair, which means officers will be allowed to grow mustaches and beards to raise awareness for prostate and testicular cancers.  The department launched a campaign a few weeks ago and has already raised nearly two-thousand-dollars for the California-based Movember Foundation.
