Rhode Island is "very likely" to lose one of its two U.S. house seats. That's the word from a report from the University of North Carolina. A researcher told WPRI.com that they predict after maps are redrawn in 2020, that the state will lose one of its seats based on current population trends. The number of lawmakers in the U.S. House is based on the population size of the state, but Rhode Island hasn't seen much growth since 2010. The state's representatives are David Cicilline and Jim Langevin.
