In honor of World AIDS Day,Rhode Island officials are pledging to encourage more people to get tested for HIV. During a State House ceremony yesterday, lawmakers and doctors agreed that the first step to avoid spreading the virus is to push people to learn their HIV status. The move is part of the 90-90-90 AIDS campaign. The campaign calls for testing 90-percent o fRhode Island residents, getting 90-percent who test positive medical care, and getting blood viral levels in 90-percent of infected people to undetectable levels.
