Two people are facing animal cruelty charges in Exeter. Police were called to a home earlier this month after receiving reports about a noise complaint. Officers entered the home after neighbors said that the lights had been on for several days and found six dogs locked in crates covered in feces without water or food. Ten other dogs were found in the backyard suffering similar conditions. Altogether officers removed 16 dogs and one cat. Donald Perkins and Kathleen Perkins were arrested in connection to the incident after arriving home from vacation. The pets were taken by animal control.
