All three Providence TV outlets are now reporting that they’ve learned from multiple credible sources that House Finance Commitee Chairman Raymond Gallison Jr. will resign today.
They're told his resignation has to do with a federal probe and is related with prostitution.
House Speaker Nicholas Mattiello has called a special caucus for this afternoon at 3:45.
Gallison represents Bristol and Portsmouth. He was first elected to the House of Representatives in 2000.
