A Rhode Island trooper is expected to be okay after a three-car accident. A police spokesperson says the trooper was stopped along Route 99 yesterday morning when a car rear-ended him. A woman was attempting to pass a person and she lost control and slammed into a second car, sending that car into the back of the police cruiser. The officer was hospitalized for minor injuries.
