>>Fog To Impact Driving Tuesday A.M.

(Undated)  --  The National Weather Service says areas of fog will reduce visibility in Southern New England this morning.  Meteorologists say fog is expected to linger until the mid-morning hours as advancing rain moves into the area.  Motorists should expect sudden changes in visibility which could be as low as a quarter-mile.

>>Hearing Scheduled After Donnybrook At Providence Club

(Providence, RI)  --  A hearing is being scheduled by the Providence Board of Licenses for a restaurant where a massive fight broke out over the weekend.  Video shows chairs and bottles being thrown during the melee at Mi Sueño Disco on Broad Street Sunday at around 7 p.m.  One person was arrested, Alexander Cerda of Providence, who was allegedly in possession of an unlicensed gun.  The Globe reports the Providence Board of Licenses is meeting on Wednesday to consider revoking the Mi Sueño liquor and entertainment permits.  The business will stay closed until then.

>>Tiverton Police Reports Hit-And-Run Which Left Victim Critical

(Tiverton, RI)  --  The Tiverton Police Department is seeking a vehicle in connection to a serious hit-and-run crash.  The suspect was in a dark-colored Acura SUV which struck a person Sunday on Bulgarmarsh Road at around 6:45 p.m.  Authorities say this was an apparent road-rage incident where the second driver exited his vehicle at a stop.  The victim is reportedly in critical hospital condition.

>>RI High School Evac'd After Carbon Monoxide Alert

(Bristol, RI)  --  Mount Hope High School in Bristol was evacuated on Monday afternoon due to high carbon monoxide levels.  An email was sent to families by the interim principal about the CO detection in the cafeteria kitchen.  Officials say everyone got outside safely, and students were then dismissed.

>>Primary Election Today In Rhode Island

(Providence, RI)  --  It is primary election day in Rhode Island.  Incumbent Democratic Governor Dan McKee is facing a challenge from a group of four which includes his Secretary of State, Nellie Gorbea [[ gore-BAY-uh ]], and there is a Republican primary for governor as well.  Rhode Island Treasurer Seth Magaziner headlines the list of Democratic primary candidates for the 2nd Congressional District, which has become vacant due to the retirement of Jim Langevin.  Former Cranston mayor Allan Fung is running unopposed on the Republican side.  And voters in the city of Providence will select a new mayor on Tuesday, with three Democrats running and no GOP or independent candidates standing in front of them.

>>Former Red Sox Pitcher Turned Policeman Killed In Crash

(Undated)  --  A former Red Sox pitcher is dead after suffering injuries in a car wreck on the way to a 9/11 commemoration in New York.  Anthony Varvaro retired from baseball to take a position as a Port Authority police officer six years ago.  He was killed in a wrong-way crash on the New Jersey Turnpike early Sunday morning.  Varvaro pitched for Boston in 2015 and for Pawtucket in 2016.  He was also with the Atlanta Braves and Seattle Mariners.

>>Report: Mac Jones Dealing With Back Spasms

(Undated)  --  The Patriots' starting quarterback is dealing with back spasms as the team heads into Week 2.  According to NFL Network, there is a chance that Mac Jones plays this week against the Pittsburgh Steelers, but there is no indication of how likely that might be.  Head coach Bill Belichick didn't offer any information about Jones at his Monday press conference.  It is likely the next word from the team about Jones' status will come from Wednesday's injury report.
