Rhode Islanders in need of a warm winter coat got the chance to pick one up for free at Friday's 17th annual "Buy Nothing Day." There were 14 places around the state where people could either drop off donations of coats or pick one out. The busiest site was in front of the Rhode Island Statehouse where a few thousand coats were given away.
