Cynthia Elder

June 18 2026 - Cynthia "Cindy" Elder is a novelist and poet. Her historical fiction series, Tales of the Sea, was published by Holand Press in 2025. The two books, The Journey Begins and The Drumbeats of War, are based on hundreds of pages of previously unpublished letters, ship's logs and personal journals from the mid-1800s.
