April 22 2026 - The City of Newport will be celebrating Arbor Day this year with a special celebration and Liberty Tree planting in honor of America’s 250th anniversary. Hosted by Newport’s Tree and Open Space Commission and Newport Historical Society, this year’s ceremony will be taking place at William Ellery Park.
