Panel today is: Dr. Verity Ramirez and Dr. Joseph Lauro. Dr. Ramirez is a cardiologist with the Lifespan Cardiovascular Institute and Dr. Lauro is an emergency medicine physician and the EMS medical director for Newport Hospital. Our focus today is on cardiac emergencies – how to prevent them from happening and how to treat them if they do happen.
